Teaser Tuesdays (2)
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read.
- Open to a random page.
- Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser:
Standing up for real, I check that the front door is locked in case any serial killers want to stop by and then I peek out the window. The snow covers everything, absolutely everything.
~Page 168 – “Need” by Carrie Jones
I LOVE this book so far. Half of it read, and I started it last night before bed. Bad idea. It is one of those books that you can’t put down even when it is 4 am….
You can participate in Teaser Tuesday with or without a blog! To share your own, or read some others, simply head over here.

Some I am wondering why she is worried about seriel killers. Somehow I doubt if they are out in the snow. Leave too much evidence.

Great teaser!! I've written down the author and title – will try to get it at the library.

I am glad you visted my blog and are following me. I am visting you and I am following you now. I love your picture for the Tuesday Teaser. I haven't seen that one before! That's a great teaser. Sounds like a book I would like. That is when it seems like I end up starting my books is before bed and I end up staying up too late!

There is something about snow being described in a book, particularly when the focus appears to be on something dead or dangerous, that is really quite creepy. It reminds me of Terry Pratchett and blood on the snow in The Hogfather. Just chills down the spine.
Great teaser!
Mine.
