Waiting On Wednesday (3)
“Waiting on” Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine where we share upcoming releases that we just cannot wait for!
Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
Sixteen-year-old Evie’s job is bagging and tagging paranormals. Possessing the strange ability to see through their glamours, she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency. But when someone–or something–starts taking out the vamps, werewolves, and other odd beasties she’s worked hard to help become productive members of society, she’s got to figure it out before they all disappear and the world becomes utterly normal.
Normal is so overrated.
Release Date: September 21, 2010
This sounds amazing! Paranormal fiction was only recently put on my radar when I found my way into YA. Now I am so hooked! Vampires, werewolves and the like all in one novel? What’s not to love? My heart aches for September to get here faster so that I can dive head first into Evie’s world.
Update: I have been reading Wintergirls, as I’m sure you saw from my Teaser Tuesday post yesterday but I need a break. So well written, but so hard to deal with. I guess anorexia is a harder subject for me than I anticipated. On a great note though, I received a copy of The Dark Divine! So look for a review for that sometime this week!
