Time to do some hopping and following!
Today’s question is:
When you read a book that you just can’t get into, do you stick it out and keep reading or move to your next title?
I subscribe to the rule that if I’m not smitten with a book within 100 pages, I put it aside in favor of another book! Why? There are way too many books out there that I want to read to slog through a book that I’m really not feeling. Don’t judge me….I see that look.
Of course there have been exceptions for me, especially with ARC tours. If I’m given a book for review I’ll finish it. Even if it drives me mad, I’ll finish it.
Am I insane? Possibly. That’s why you follow me right?
What is your reading suggestion this week?
DELIRIUM!!! Yes, I know it’s not out yet, but if you haven’t put it on your TBR pile….do it now. I’ll wait. Seriously. This book was so amazing that I literally gasped when I finished reading it, and now I’m fully in love with Lauren Oliver. You can read my review if you’d like, it’s spoiler free. (I hate spoilers.) Or just go and fawn over the beautiful cover as you await the release date. Delirium is worth the wait!
