This book caught my eye first of all, because of the cover. It looks so haunting and matches the title perfectly. Then as I read the synopsis and knew that I was going to have to read this book. Just like Sarah Dessen books, it sounds like this is a look into the dark places that come along with cancer. How it affects a family. Books like this are always a hard read, but I feel like reading them makes me a stronger person :).
