Movie Review: The Losers
Every once in a while I find a movie that I want to chat about with others, but unfortunately there’s no one around. SO you, my dear reader friends, get to hear my commentary? Aren’t you the lucky ones?

Are you a fan of action movies? Do movies with quick moving plots and lots of explosions make you smile inside? Is your weapon of choice a rocket launcher?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then The Losers is definitely a movie for you!
After being trapped in my apartment yesterday sick, I needed an escape. The boyfriend and I popped in The Losers and sat back to enjoy while we ate dinner. Well…let’s just say that I kind of forgot my dinner existed after a few minutes. The opening to this movie is deliciously heart wrenching and sets up the rest of the movie so well that I was instantly smitten. It might also have been helped by the fact that some of the cast members are rather good looking….maybe.
Anyhow this movie is just pure enjoyment of the action-filled kind! The plot was strong, which tends to be rare in action movies, and the characters were so much fun. Their banter with one another had me rolling, and each of them had such fabulous personalities. I liked that the director gave them enough back story to make them real, but still kept them slightly shrouded in mystery. Mystery and general bad-assness of course. I also think Zoe Saldana was the perfect choice for the female role!
Am I rambling? I think so. Suffice it to say that I had a great time watching this movie and I’ll watch it again! If you want something action filled, comedic, and slightly touching at the same time, this is a movie for you. Rocket launchers definitely included.
