New Feature: Plights of the Round Table
First a Blue’s Clues joke, now a historical joke?
Yes ma’am and sir. I am full of them!

I’ve been thinking for a long time about starting a new feature for advice. There are plenty of them out there, and they are all fabulous, but they rely on getting advice from that one person. From the blogger.
At work we have something we like to call “OTJ” or “On The Job” on all our meeting agendas. It’s a time for us to put out problems/issues that we’re having, and then have our coworkers give us feedback and advice. Basically it’s a huge forum where everyone shares their ideas and input. Trust me, it works wonders!
Have a question your itching to know the answer to? Need help with a problem? Just want to see what others think about something? That’s what this is for!
Let me put it this way. No matter how much I know, there’s no way I know it all. So why don’t we all pool our general resources and get to the answer even faster?

HOW IT WORKS
Every so often I’ll put up a form for question submissions. It will be open for about 2 to 3 days, depending on how many people submit a question!
On that same post, I’ll post one or two of the questions (maybe more if they’re related) on the blog with the header that you see above. That is your cue, my blogging friends, to give your advice in the comments!
THE RULES
Oh yes, there are rules. We have these same ones at our work as well.
1. This is supposed to be a safe environment for people to ask questions so please, no condescending talk or unwarranted criticism.
2. As this is an open forum, you are welcome to disagree with other people’s advice. This is fine, but disagreements should be addressed as professionally as possible.
3. If you are the person who asked the question, please only respond to advice with a “Thank You” or something equally positive. We never want to discourage advice! Even if we’ve already tried it.
4. I will mediate all comments. If you are unprofessional or just plain mean more than once, I will block you from commenting on these posts. Be nice.
That’s it! Let’s spark some conversation!
You’ll find the contact form below. Go ahead and ask away! Form closes at 11:00 pm PST.
