Let the countdown begin! It’s the last week before I go on vacation and I couldn’t be happier! Well, except maybe if I won a million dollars. Here’s my week in reading. |

I was browsing the library shelves last week and one of the displays was books about unicorns! Okay, so I’m 30 and I still love unicorns. What’s wrong with that? I grabbed Into The Land of Unicorns on a whim. Final verdict? Young Jessica, the Jessica who this book was intended for, would have loved the heck out of this. I only just mildly enjoyed it. On a happy note, The Scandalous Sisterhood of Prickwillow Place ended up being a book I adored! I was surprised, because it didn’t click with me at first. Rounding out the week was A Murder of Magpies. Not my kind of book, sadly.

My main read right now is The Demeter Code by Russell Brooks. I loved the first book in this series, and this was is just as exciting! It’s just taking me a bit longer to finish because of work stuff. I’m listening to Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrews on my train ride. I love this series! My night time read, to wind down before bed, is The Witch’s Boy by Kelly Barnhill. So amazing so far! I’m seriously impressed with the writing.

I received an advanced copy of The Bodies We Wear by Jeyn Roberts for a blog tour, so that’s up next! I’m in love with this cover. Let’s hope the story inside matches it’s outer beauty :).
That’s it for me! What are YOU reading this week? Don’t forget to leave a link so I can go and visit you too!
