Waiting on Wednesday (4/25/18)
You’ve made it to Wednesday, bookish friends! Congratulations!
I’m slogging through this day. That’s pretty much the only way to describe how I feel. If someone were to point me in the direction of a cup a tea and a couch, I’d fall straight asleep. Hahaha. The good part is that it’s at least the middle of the week, so we’re in the downhill swing to the weekend! Huzzah!
Now, on to my pick for this Wednesday!
I’m eagerly waiting on Salt by Hannah Moskowitz.
Even though their parents disappeared during a hunt three months ago, seventeen-year-old Indi and his siblings, Beleza, Oscar, and Zulu, continue to roam the Mediterranean on their sailboat and hunt down monsters–but Indi yearns for a more settled life for his family, and he hopes that his parents’ journal with its tantalizing hints of a treasure, will provide them all with the means of escape from their nomadic and dangerous life before it is too late.
I have been excited about this book since I first saw the description for it, and I honestly can’t wait for it to come out! It sounds amazing, and it’s not out until October! Gah!
What are you waiting on this week?
