Best Laid Plans and Other Nonsense
Greetings dear friends. It has been far too long since I’ve stopped in to say hello. Or perhaps it has only been a few weeks. Time feels irrelevant at the moment as days feel forever long and each day brings new information and challenges.
I’m sure most of you already are, or will be soon, under quarantine orders. Social distancing is SUPER IMPORTANT so please make sure you’re following all CDC guidelines. I’m not here to be on a soapbox just please keep your distance so we can all get back to some level of normal soon. PRETTY PLEASE.
Okay, enough of that, back to books. I had such high hopes of reading time before all this pandemic stuff took over my life. I even signed up for a few Netgalley ARCS on top of my blog tours. Now I’m stressed about finishing all the books I promised to read by April. You see I have a 2 and 4 year old at home full time now (4 year old was in preschool 4 mornings a week) and boy do they require a lot of attention right now. Alas, reading seems to be the first thing to go when life stresses happen. Which honestly is a poor choice on my part as it is a great escape from the trouble of the world. It is what it is right now and I’m doing my very best to keep up with everything. As always, thanks for being patient.
That being said, I do hope to inspire you with some new releases soon. I have several book blitzes in the pipeline to keep some content coming for you. I’m sure many of you are diving into your TBR right now, so what’s a few more additions? 🙂
If you have any happy news to share or just want to say hello, please do! My extroverted side is very lonely at the moment and could use some extra love.
Stay safe inside everyone, and for goodness sake WASH YOUR HANDS. Love love love to all of you.
