April Fools?
Yeah, my house isn’t this nice either. Don’t worry. Hahaha. I think while we’re all snug at home our houses may look a little more what I like to call “lived in”. A puzzle here, a coffee mug there, that book you were reading but abandoned (with the page saved just in case) sitting on the couch arm. Yup, cozy. Lived in. Perfectly you.
I can’t be the only one out there who feels like these last few weeks have a been a blur. March has felt like a month that extended well beyond its intended 31 days, and yet the fact that I’ve been at home this entire time has made it seem like a it flew. I had the best intentions to read a lot, work on that puzzle, and organize things. Some things got done, some didn’t, and honestly I’m feeling okay with that. As we adjust to our temporary new normal I think we have to be kind to ourselves and understand that every day isn’t as productive as we’d like. We’re adapting.
Anyway I wanted to come in here and say hi! Once again Tina has been amazing at holding down the fort while I’ve been busy with school, work, and general healing. As I reported last time, I’m actually back up in my reading again. Now up to 3-4 chapters a night, and I’m almost done with 3 separate books. So hopefully I’ll have something to review for you soon!
I know today is April Fools day, but let’s just ignore that this year. I feel like 2020 has tricked us enough, yeah?
