F is for Friday! Or, this week felt really odd.
It seems that the novelty of working from home is back again. It might be because it’s my favorite time of the year, but I’m back to enjoying my ability to wake up, enjoy some tea, and spend longer evenings watching movies. I’ve had a blast baking cookies and cuddling under blankets. So this week hasn’t felt long like I usually feel. Instead it felt… cozy? It’s nice.
Anyway, this is my second time participating in “F Is For Friday” and I’m so very ready! Let’s do this!
F – Feature Your Latest Book Obsession
Hoopla has a list of freebies, or books that you can borrow without using your monthly credits, and this adorable Christmas romance was on it. I’m about 30% of the way through and it’s SO CUTE. This is exactly what I needed.
I – Indicate Which Book(s) You Are Looking Forward to Reading This Weekend
I started this two weeks ago, and haven’t really buckled down to finish it. So that’s on the agenda for this weekend! This book is particularly spooky. It’s a great mix between a YA mystery and a YA horror book. I cannot WAIT to see what the ending is like!
F – Favorite Quote of the Week/Day
Plus, glowsticks shine brightest in the darkness. Keep on glowing my friends.
F – Five Things You’re Happy or Grateful for this Week
- That there are SO many restaurants that deliver food. I’ve been making it my mission to try a new restaurant every week.
- That I have a nigh endless amount of books to read, tv shows to binge, and a garden to tend.
- That it’s finally cool enough to bake, because cookies are love.
- That I haven’t gotten sick at all yet, even with a cold. I’m sure this is because I’ve been home, but it’s rather nice.
- That we live in Southern California where, even though it is mid-November, the weather is perfect to relaxing in the sunshine.
I hope that you all have an absolutely lovely weekend!
