It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (11/30/20)
Good morning friends! It’s another Monday and, once again, it feels like all the time and no time at all passed. Can you believe Christmas is less than a month away? I still can’t. It’s crazy. Still, it is indeed Monday and that means it is once again time to share my reading!
Read Last Week:
I think you all know that I’ve been reading really slowly, so this is the only book that I finished last week. Trust me when I say that it was 100% worth the time though, because I loved it! Leah Johnson has crafted a book that is funny, heartfelt, and delivers some hard messages in a perfect way. I needed something hopeful, and this gave me exactly that.
Currently Reading:
I’ve been working my way through Whispering Pines for a week or so now. It’s slow going, not because the book isn’t good, but because I haven’t had much time to read physical books in good light. I hope to finish it this week though! Only 100 pages to go.
I also started Lanny by Max Porter as my new audio book and so far it is excellent. However I have determined that I can’t listen to it before bed hahaha. The narrators have such calming voices, and the writing is so lyrical that it makes me calm and sleepy.
Reading Next:
Tis’ the season for Christmas romances, and I need them more this year than I ever have before. Harlequin was kind enough to grant me a complimentary copy of this, so I’ll be reading it this week and hopefully reviewing it next! I’m looking forward to some good meet cutes, and a full on happily ever after. I think that’s just what this season of 2020 needs.
That’s it for me! What are you reading this week?

No, I CAN’T believe it’s almost Christmas! You said it perfectly – time seems to be flying by and standing still, all at once. Such a strange year.
Whispering Pines looks great – I hadn’t heard of it before, so thanks for the heads up!
Hope you enjoy your books this week –
Sue
