Can’t Wait Wednesday (1/20/21)
If you’re like me, you’re probably glued to Inauguration news right now. In case you’re taking a break though, it’s time to share what upcoming book I’m super excited for! Are you ready?
Today’s pick is a little on the creepier side. I can’t deny that I love a good scare, but what I REALLY love is female written horror. This book looks SO GOOD. Want to join me in fawning over it?
Cassandra Khaw’s Nothing But Blackened Teeth is a gorgeously creepy haunted house tale, steeped in Japanese folklore and full of devastating twists.
A Heian-era mansion stands abandoned, its foundations resting on the bones of a bride and its walls packed with the remains of the girls sacrificed to keep her company.
It’s the perfect wedding venue for a group of thrill-seeking friends.
But a night of food, drinks, and games quickly spirals into a nightmare. For lurking in the shadows is the ghost bride with a black smile and a hungry heart.
And she gets lonely down there in the dirt.
This intriguing book will be out on October 19, 2021 and I simply cannot wait! Creepy cover? Check. Fantastic premise? Check. I am all in!
What are you waiting on?

That cover is something else! Nothing But Blackened Teeth does sound really good though–creepy in a good way. I hope you love it when you read it. I’ll have to watch for it.
