Awaiting Fall
I can’t be the only one who is ready for Fall weather, can I? I know that it’s not quite that part of the year yet, and also that I love in So Cal where there isn’t really a Fall, but I’m still aching for it. We hit the third day in a row with 90 degree temperatures, and I am just so over it. My brain wants cool weather, warm blankets, and hot cocoa. Sometimes I think back to how much I used to love Summer when I was a kid. Except now I realize that was only because I had so much time off of school, and so much time to read.
On a happy note, the fall bingo game on my Instagram account starts this week! So even though it doesn’t feel like Fall, I can at least channel some of those vibes in the form of reads. If you’re reading this and you’d like to join, please come on over! There are prizes, great people to chat with, and lots of motivation to knock some of your TBR down. It’s a lot of fun! I think this year, more than ever, I’m excited about it because I’m back in super reading mode. It’ll be nice to catch up on some of my wishlist books that have been waiting patiently for me.
