Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Spring 2023 To-Read List (3/14/23)
Happy Tuesday to all my reader friends out there! It’s a rainy Tuesday here, and I’m struggling a bit to focus. Weather like this always makes me want to crawl back into bed and read. Work? Work, who. LOL. But I’m powering through and I’m here to share some more bookish goodness with you.
So let’s gooooooooooooo!
Books On My Spring 2023 To-Read List
Garbrielle Zevin – The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry
This has been on my to-read list for AGES and I finally just broke down and bought a copy to read. When a book stubbornly sits on my bedside table I’m a lot more likely to actually read it. Ebooks are easy to ignore hahaha. So this is priority #1.
Melissa Ferguson – Famous for a Living
For me, Spring is all about reading things that are relatively light and fluffy. One of my favorite focuses during this time of year is definitely romance. This particular book looks super cute, and I can’t wait to dive in!
Jen Frederick – Heart and Seoul
Another sweet romance and, as my Discord friend has so sweetly told me, one that I will love because it has a very K-drama worthy lead. I was immediately sold.
Becky Chambers – A Psalm for the Wild-Built
Another book that has been on my reading list for entirely too long. Do I occasionally like to make myself cry with a sweet and sad story? Oh you bet your behind I do. So, yeah. This is on the list.
Ian Moore – Death and Croissants
I love a good cozy mystery, and there just aren’t enough out there that have sweet male leads. So I’m intrigued by this one, and I can’t wait.
T.J. Klune – In the Lives of Puppets
I AM SO HYPED FOR THIS BOOK. Look, I’m a T.J. Klune fangirl and I have no problem admitting it. I’ve already pre-ordered this and now I’m just eagerly awaiting its arrival.
Trang Than Tran – She Is a Haunting
I wouldn’t be me, if I didn’t have at least one Horror novel queued up. I’m always reading at least a little bit at a time. And this one looks good and spooky.
Emily Henry – Happy Place
Emily Henry flew up my reading list after I read Book Lovers last year and absolutely fell head over heels for it. This newest book is out next month and I am eagerly anticipating it!
Lindsay Eager – The Family Fortuna
Okay yes, this was 100% a cover love addition. That doesn’t change the fact that the prospect of a creepy circus had me READY TO GO.
Johnny Compton – The Spite House
Yup, another Horror novel. This one is tentatively on my next read list, but I don’t know if I’m ready haha. I love books about haunted houses but they always leave me a little creeped out way past the read. We’ll see.
