Fall Feelings Forever
Am I the only one who is desperately wishing for cooler weather? We had a beautiful cooldown because of hurricane weather and I absolutely adored it. Then this weekend shot right back up into the high 90’s and I am just slowly wilting. I need Fall. I need warm sweaters, hot drinks and fuzzy blankets. Bring on the drizzle and the clouds! Soup season? Yes, please. My fall feelings are in full swing.
On a happy note, I’ve been picking up on the reading train. I’m up to 27 books from the last time that I checked in. I’ve found that listening to audiobooks while I work has been super successful. Working on spreadsheets while having a nice story in the background has been lovely. Plus I picked up Robert Jackson Bennet’s Q1 2024 release and I am LOVING IT. Keep an eye out for it if you’re a Fantasy lover, I think you’ll love it too!
So anyway I’ll be over here wishing for cooler weather and just doing my best to hit my reading goal. Now that I’m less stressed out about it, it has actually been easier to read a bit more. I’m back to only reading what I’m enjoying and that makes me so exquisitely happy :).
