Those Cozy Reading Vibes
Well, the weather has not been kind enough to make up its mind. We’re still alternating between wild 90 degree days, and beautiful 75 degree days. Some days I can pop all the windows open and enjoy the gorgeous bird sounds. Some days I have all of our blackout curtains closed and the A/C on full blast. Hahahaha. *sobs* But this is normal. I’m actually really anticipating Halloween because that’s when the temperatures finally start to plummet for real. Let’s GO.
I haven’t let that mess up my cozy reading vibes though. I’ve been having a great time picking up speed on my yearly reading. Although I most definitely won’t end up hitting my 52 books this year goal, I’m actually not too worried about it. This year has been full of SO MANY good reads. Most, if not all, of what I’ve read has been rated 3 stars and above. That’s unheard of. And it has a lot to do with the fact that I’ve not been rushing myself or taking any review requests that I’m not interested in. Go figure, right?
The warm weather also isn’t stopping me from my morning ritual of hot tea on weekends, or hot cocoa on work evenings. That’s what A/C is for right? Sometimes we’ve just gotta generate our own cozy vibes. It’s a So Cal staple.
