I blinked and it was Friday

Oh man, seriously. We had two days off last week for the holiday and I was so excited about the long weekend. Then Monday came, and reality set in. This week was absolute madness. We were busy non-stop and at the end of the day the last thing I wanted to do was look a computer. So, yeah. Past Jessica definitely should have scheduled some posts instead of eating more King’s Hawaiian rolls haha. I blinked, and suddenly it was Friday.

On a bright note, I actually managed to finish two audio books this week while I was attacking spreadsheets mindlessly, so that was nice. I’m now at 57 books read for the year and I’m pretty damn proud of myself! When we started, I was sure I wouldn’t even make my goal of 52. Audio books have truly been the VIPs of my reading this year. It’s nice that my work is monotonous at times that I can really sink into a good story at the same time.

So yeah, anyway, I’ll be spending tonight and tomorrow night getting some posts drafted. I’ve read some great books and I really want to share them with all of you. So stay tuned. Oh, and make sure to eat ample amounts of rolls. It’s a necessity during this time of the year.
