It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (10/28/24)
Happy Monday my reader friends!
Ah, it’s finally cooling down significantly here in So Cal and my cozy loving heart is happy. I just need the time change to happen so that it’s not pitch black outside when I wake up in the morning. Haha. Still it has been perfect reading weather and I’ve been doing my best to keep up my reading pace. I’ve been pretty lucky so far to only find books that have kept my interest, even if they didn’t end up being my favorites.
Let’s take a look at where things are this week, shall we?
Read Last Week:
Last week I finished Death at the Dinner Party by Ellie Alexander. I’ve been having a lot of fun with these novels. They’re light, have just the right amount of thriller vibes, and have fun characters that make me happy to meet them again and again. I have a notification set so any time my library buys a new one I can hop on the waitlist, so this was a much anticipated title! I enjoyed it immensely.
Currently Reading:
I’ve been slowly making my way through these two books, taking my time with them and once again really enjoying myself. The Memory Library is super sweet, I snatched it up in the libro.fm BOGO sale and I’m so glad that I did. The God of the Woods is a library borrow and I was lucky enough to be at the top of the list. It’s so good so far! I can’t wait to see where it takes me.
Reading Next:
I’ve been waiting for library hold of this book for AGES. I had a hankering to re-read it after talking to some friends about it, and realized that my copy (which was gifted to me by a friend) has vanished. Perhaps I gifted it away as well? Who knows. But now I can finally scratch that itch!
That’s it for me! What are you reading this week?
