It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (3/17/25)
Happy Monday bookish people!
Here’s hoping that you had a good weekend, and that today is treating you well. The time change always kicks but my butt, because I’m now back to waking up when there is no sun outside and I’m always so TIRED from that. I know it’ll improve soon though, and so I’m just chugging along. Soon I’ll blink and it will be summer and I’ll be complaining about how hot it is hahaha.
Anyway, the books have been flowing, so let’s take a look at where things are this week, shall we?

Read Last Week:

Last week I both finished and reviewed Chalmach Chronicles: Book One. You can find my review here! I really enjoyed this set of short stories. The world that they are set in was rich, and full of magic. Each story just further builds on the one before it, and I honestly wanted more! I can’t wait for the second book to come out. I also finished The Ministry of Time and man…. that was so so so good. It was one of those books that really stuck with me right from the beginning, and I’m going to need a re-read so that I can do some quote pulling.
Currently Reading:

I swapped over to a NetGalley review book and picked up Killer Potential by Hannah Deitch. It’s…. okay. Honestly it started off great and then it just started to drag and drag. I’m almost done and still on the fence on what I’m going to rate it. We’ll see. I also listened to We Do Not Welcome Our Ten-Year-Old Overlord by Garth Nix. I’m about halfway through with that one and it’s pretty fun! Think Stranger Things vibes, and you’re pretty spot on. I’m excited to see how it ends.
Reading Next:

Next up I’m going to listen to the audio of The Courting of Bristol Keats by Mary E. Pearson. I’ve been waiting eagerly for my turn with this one at the library, so I am so ready! Hoping that it treats me well.
That’s it for me! What are you reading this week?
