    For the love of BookLikes

Those of us in the book blogging world know that social media plays a huge part in everything we do. In fact, the way I stumbled into this playground of bibliophilic goodness was actually through Twitter! Social media is the chain that keeps us all together, keeps us talking about the books we love, and makes it easy for us to find one another. I admit that I have an account on pretty much every social platform out there. I’ve tried them all, loved some and completely abandoned others. So when I saw that BookLikes, a shiny and new book…

    Google Reader alternatives!

As we all know, and are probably freaking out about, Google Reader is going away soon. I for one follow every blog I read via RSS. The great thing about that is that all you need to do is find a new RSS reader! There are plenty of them out there, each with there own strengths. I’ve made it my own personal mission to find some great alternatives, and here are my favorites: Bloglovin’ What I like about Bloglovin’ is the simplicity of it. Did you miss me?

Well friends, it’s been an absolutely lovely week of slacking off. Mr. B and I totally enjoyed our honeymoon, and I’m relaxed beyond belief :). It’s our last night here! Bittersweet really. Tomorrow we say goodbye to San Francisco and head back home. On Sunday you’ll see the list of posts for next week, and everything will go back to normal. I’m rejuvenated and ready to get back to blogging! Until then, much love and thanks for waiting!
