Can’t Wait Wednesday (4/5/23)
Happy official Spring y’all! Or, at least it is here hahaha. I’ve been waiting for ages for the weather to get nice enough to throw open the windows all day, and we’re finally there. While the rain might come back at some point to throw off my plans, so far I’m very much enjoying the nice weather. If it stays consistent, it’ll be planting season soon too. I can’t wait! My book choice this week is one that I’ve been eyeing ever since I saw that T.J. Klune had a new book out soon! I LOVE KLUNE’S WRITING. Yes, it…

Can’t Wait Wednesday (7/22/20)
It has been quite a while since I’ve done one of these posts! I’ve been slowly going back to reading more regularly, but the weather (and honestly my exhaustion of being inside) has been calling me outdoors more and more often. This is why I end up forgetting to post in here, or write reviews. I’ve decided the best thing to do is just set a few hours aside each week to poke around in here and draft some posts for future use. This is the first of those! Anyway the point of this meme is to share books that…

Can’t Wait Wednesday – The Oddmire by William Ritter
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted here, at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine. If you’re continuing with WOW, feel free to link those up as well! Find out more here. Real talk, I am SO EXCITED about this book! The instant that I saw the synopsis for William Ritter’s new book, I was smitten. I have a soft spot for middle grade at…

Waiting on Wednesday 9/26/18
Okay, this is a VERY SPECIAL WoW post, because the release date of this book is so darn close! I’ve been chomping at the bit for The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy since I finished Mackenzi Lee’s first book. Oh, goodness. I’m in love with Percy and I don’t care who knows it! I can’t wait to see what kind of mischief Felicity gets up to in her own story though. I CAN’T WAIT! Felicity Montague is through with pretending she prefers society parties to books about bone setting—or that she’s not smarter than most people she knows, or that…

Waiting on Wednesday (8/8/18)
It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, I realized! With all the madness lately I’ve kind of fallen off of my normal posting habits, but I’m working my way back. It’s been nice to once again have a radar on all the new books coming out :). I missed being excited for new releases! Now, on to my pick for this Wednesday! I’m eagerly waiting on Salt by Hannah Moskowitz. When witches kidnap her dad, Mup is swept up in a wild tide of magic that carries her to another world. Can she reunite her family and find her…

Waiting on Wednesday (4/25/18)
You’ve made it to Wednesday, bookish friends! Congratulations! I’m slogging through this day. That’s pretty much the only way to describe how I feel. If someone were to point me in the direction of a cup a tea and a couch, I’d fall straight asleep. Hahaha. The good part is that it’s at least the middle of the week, so we’re in the downhill swing to the weekend! Huzzah! Now, on to my pick for this Wednesday! I’m eagerly waiting on Salt by Hannah Moskowitz. Even though their parents disappeared during a hunt three months ago, seventeen-year-old Indi and his siblings,…

Waiting on Wednesday: Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi + A Giveaway!
Hey friends! It’s been a long time since I posted one of these, I know. I strayed away from too many weekly memes for a while, but now I’m kind of heading back towards them because I’ve just been too busy to write whole posts all the time. I’m in desperate need of a quiet weekend where I can draft a bunch of things to post at random times again :). My cache has been depleted. Anyway, let’s talk books! I’m so excited for Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi, and the best part is that I actually was lucky enough…

Waiting on Wednesday (8/16/17)
So, I am actually drafting this post on a Saturday, which feels a little bit like cheating hahahaha. That doesn’t change the fact that this is a book that I’m extremely excited for though! Things are settling back down to normal speed, thank goodness, and home life has gotten more calm. We’re learning what things we can cut back a bit on, and what things we can make easier on ourselves so that there’s more down time. I missed have down time. Anyway, back to the book I’m excited for! A simple but forgotten truth: Where harbingers of death appear,…

Waiting on Wednesday (4/12/17)
You’ve made it to Wednesday, bookish friends! Congratulations! Apologies for things being a bit slow this week. Last weekend was the hubby’s birthday, and his birthday party, and I was pretty wrapped up in all of that. So, although I still got a fair amount of reading done, not very much blogging happened over the weekend. Whenever I forget to plan ahead, things tend to slow down a bit :). That’s the blogger life. Now, on to my pick for this Wednesday! I’m eagerly waiting on Grit by Gillian French. His presence beside me is like heat, like weight, something I’ve carried…

Waiting on Wednesday (1-25-17)
You’ve made it to Wednesday, bookish friends! Congratulations! With all the madness happening lately, it’s a wonder that any of us are functioning properly. I fully admit that it put a hard stop on my reading for a bit, and (as you can definitely see) on my blogging too. If I’ve learned anything though, it’s that sharing book related items makes me happy! Thus this meme. I’m off to visit everyone after I share this book, and go add all the books to my happily overflowing TBR. Now, on to my pick for this Wednesday! I’m eagerly waiting on Black…
