Sunday Post #1: A Long Week

This week felt so long, and exhausting, despite the fact that Monday was a holiday from work. I mean I know exactly why it did. Still I was emotionally drained and so very happy when it was finally Friday again. I’ve spent my weekend doing my best to unwind and recharge. Don’t forget to take care of yourselves, friends. Rest is productive.

- A Random Wednesday Update (Ramblings)
- We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer (Book Review)
A quiet week, yes. No brain power was had.

- Top Ten Tuesday: New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2024 (Meme)
- The Edge of the Silver Sea by Alex Mullarky (Book Review)
- All the Names They Used For God: Stories by Anjali Sachdeva (Book Review)
And, if we’re being honest, probably a rambling post as well. I try to keep this blog a mix of posts that are book related and just a place for me to share some randomness with you!

A quick roundup of bookish related articles I found cool, and think you might like!
- Holes by Louis Sachar is getting a gender-bent TV show version, and Liz Phang (of Yellowjackets fame) is the showrunner!
- A really good op-ed on book banning, and why it affects everyone.
- A post by Kelly Jensen on how to explain book bans to new people coming into the space.
- Inkstone Books has a lovely, gold-foiled edition of The Saint of Bright Doors by Vajra Chandrasekera
