Happy Spring friends!

It is officially the start of Spring, and LA weather is actually playing nice for once. I woke up to sunshine and bird song, and the high in the city is looking to be in the mid-70s. A beautiful day to get out, do some walking, and really just appreciate the fact that it’s going to start warming up. This is my favorite time of year. I don’t mind the rain at all, and the weather when it’s warm is just gorgeous. I’ve got to soak it in before the summer temps come and push us all indoors hahaha.

Anyway I just wanted to check in! I’ve been on a book binge, and have a ton of reviews to write. I just haven’t had the time this week. Between workload, and personal appointments, by the time I’ve gotten home every day I just want to flop and do nothing. But I’m free tonight, and planning to write up some reviews to post over the weekend.

And speaking of weekend, my plans on Saturday are to be outdoors at the botanic garden! They’re hosting a celebration of agave. Which of course means lots of tequila, mezcal, and delicious tacos. Yummy food and drinks AND plants? What more could a girl ask for. I’m honestly really excited about the event, and that motivates me even more to get things done tonight while I have time.

Soak up the sun my friends that can! And if you’re still in a cold area, stay warm and cozy. Bookish hugs to all of you.

Leave Some Love!
